Types Of Plywood (Based On Wood)

Hardwood Plywood

  • Made from Teak Wood, or Gurjan Wood or Birch Wood.

Softwood Plywood

  • Made from Woods like Cedar, SPF (Pruce-Pine-Fir) or Mango Wood.

Types Of Plywood (Based On Use)

Regular Grade Plywood

  • Used for temporary use.

Commercial Plywood

  • Also known as interior grade or MR (Moisture resistant) grade
    plywood.
  • Used for making furniture that is unlikely to get wet.

Water Proof Plywood

  • Also know as Exterior grade or BWR (Boiling water resistant) grade plywood.
  • Used for making furniture that is likely to get wet e.g. Kitchen
    furniture.

Marine Plywood

  • Superior quality and also costs a lot more
  • Used for making furniture or products that are subjected to prolonged water exposure.
  • Used mainly for industrial purposes and boat building.

CONKRETE PLYWOOD is available in Moisture Resistant (MR) and Boiling Water Resistant (BWR) grades. Both the grades are used for the interior and exterior woodworking application. ISI marked M.R. grade plywood is bonded with Melamine Urea Formaldehyde Synthetic Resin. While the BWR grade plywood is bonded with Fortified Phenol Formaldehyde Synthetic Resin as per standards of IS: 848:1974 under controlled temperature and pressure with requisite timing to obtain unmatched bonding.

CONKRETE ARCHITECT PLYWOOD

surpasses the required  technicalities. It is manufactured with utmost care in the supervision of technical experts with well selected pieces of core and gurjan face veneers. These are bonded with Phenol Formaldehyde BWP grade resin under high temperature and pressure. Further, the finished plywood is subjected to proper chemical treatment with water-soluble fixed type preservatives under vacuum pressure to ensure protection against wood destroying organism and to make the product insects, borer, termites and fungi free. This specific stress relieving treatment is also given to check anti warp properties of plywood, which make them dimensionally stable in both excessive wet and dry condition throughout their life.
